Position Summary Direct maintenance tech experience is not a requirement as training and educational classes can be provided to enthusiastic applicants! Join our growing team as a first-time or experienced Maintenance Tech! You would work with our dedicated property management team to complete maintenance requests, schedule and perform inspections, assist in unit turnovers, and help out in other tasks that arise! Key Responsibilities Property Maintenance: Our top-notch maintenance team supports our residents by completing maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner. Inspections: We schedule and complete annual inspections of our apartments to perform preventative maintenance and record current conditions. Repairs: Include painting, plumbing, lighting, electrical, heating, ventilation, fixtures, walls/doors/windows, carpentry, locks, etc. Communication: Professional and friendly communication with our team members, residents, and vendors/contractors. Records/Policies: Maintain organized and detailed records and receipts throughout assigned tasks and inspections. Follow all company policies and procedures; including maintaining a safe and clean workspace at all times. Prerequisites Motivation to contribute to our goal of providing quality living experiences for all of our residents Enthusiasm to learn and desire to expand your property maintenance knowledge Similar or cross-over experience for the key responsibilities listed above Personable, responsible, punctual, and will positively represent our team Love to work in a fast-paced environment and have a self-starter attitude Experience with online software (email, Google Drive, Excel, etc.) Additional Info/Requirements Compensation Range: $18.00 - $24.00/hour DOE Schedule (Full Time): Monday - Friday (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM) Benefits include: Paid Time Off, Health Insurance Plans, 401(k) matching, Mileage Reimbursement Local travel is required - Must have a reliable vehicle, maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Must be available to work on-call (after-hours and weekend emergencies) Ability to perform physical requirements of the job. This includes but is not limited to; ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, lift 50lbs+ on a regular basis, ability to climb stairs, step stools, and ladders without assistance, ability to twist, crouch, kneel or crawl frequently Ability to safely operate and own maintenance tools/equipment required for the job (tape measure, drills, drain snakes, stud finders, etc.) Ability to read, write, text, email, scan/upload documents, and accurately record timesheets/miles/work order documents Proficient in computer & smartphone skills and ability to learn our software programs Send us your resume to apply for this position!
