Positions Available at our Portland and Beaverton Offices Portland: Beaverton: Overview: The Utility Lot Attendant will assist in cleaning, fueling, checking engine oil, and other light maintenance work designed to assist vehicle operators preparing to start their day of service.  The Utility Lot Attendant will also assist in general parking lot management to ensure vehicles are properly parked and the lot is free of garbage and trash.  May assist in seasonal duties to include snow and ice removal and chaining of vehicles. Responsibilities: Perform lot attendant duties Drives, maneuvers, and parks vehicles Performs janitorial maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, cleaning stations, and related facilities Reports any maintenance issues to supervisor Maintains yard cleanliness Provides operator assistance when needed Assists with yard safety & security Other duties as assigned Education, Licensing, and Certifications: Must possess a valid state driver’s license with a minimum of one year of driving experience and a good driving record Experience: 1 year or more of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred Skills and Knowledge Required: Good oral communication skills Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions Ability to read, comprehend, and abide by Material Safety Data Sheets and all other safety training materials provided Ability to learn shop processes including fueling vehicles and cleaning vehicles Ability to mix and use a variety of cleaning products Ability to use a variety of cleaning equipment Strong attention to details Pre-Employment Requirements: Must submit to drug testing, physical examination, and a criminal background check Physical Demands: Less than 10% of work is accomplished in doors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities Greater than 90% of work is accomplished outdoors, or in an open garage facility. Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand wrist motion, and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. May be asked to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
