Description

Up-and-coming Steely Dan cover band is looking for additional nuance to add to the mix. Currently have one lead guitar player who is also singing lead. Looking for a subtle, smart player with a good ear to step in and help with rhythm guitar and share solos. Ideal fit would also include the ability to sing background vocals and know how to remember your pitch in the harmonies, and maybe even play some keys or percussion or a horn once in awhile. We are serious about making music that respects the sheer musicianship and arrangement represented by Steely Dan's great work, but not so much that we will not have fun and put our own spin on it. We are rehearsing about 1x/week right now, and hope to be gigging 1-2x per month. Please tell me - a little about your music experience (years, styles, bands) - what you hope to bring to the band (instruments, vocals, raw dumbfounding good looks, etc.) - what you hope to get out of this I look forward to hearing from you, and maybe making some great music with you!
