A recent Civiqs poll shows Biden has a 22% approval rating among Independents which is even less support than Democrats give him and Independents are 60% of voters. If the Presidential election were held today he'd loose worse than Mondale did to Reagan. Why is he thought of so poorly? Because any President like Biden who says inflation ticking up to 8.3% is just an inch more than the previous month is out of touch with the suffering voters are going through and that's a death knell to any President's reelection. It's like saying if you can't afford gas because he cut the supply buy a $65,000 electric car instead. He's lived off the government tit for 50 years and has no personal experience of what economic suffering the average voter has to endure. On 60 Minute he said the US would us our military to defend Taiwan from China and immediately whoever controls him in the White House walked back his comment. But I'm glad he can still do push ups because he can't ride a bike without falling off! Hey guess what? You're right! Independents like me are the ones who's votes can flip elections. And guess what? I'm betting they'll largely vote against the GOP because: The GOP grandstanded and voted against giving veterans of the Gulf Wars medical benefits. The GOP called to defund the FBI and DOJ - funny when 1 Dem said defund the police it was a travesty. The GOP supports a traitor to America. The GO engages in human trafficking. The GOP politicized the Supreme Court. The GOP stripped away women's rights - this one is the biggest boo boo. You pissed off the vast majority of women in this country and it's THEY who will show the GOP the door. Yea the midterms should be interesting. "Red wave"? Not likely. Not even a ripple. Oh and I believe any one who holds a seat in Congress who has asked for a pardon should be thrown out. When the facts come out, those who engaged in seditious acts and asked for a pardon should be gone. Leading Democrats in Congress refuse to answer the simple question will they support Biden for reelection, that's how bad it is for him! These ARE the facts not some theory or opinion. Biden would lose badly, the Democratic Party humiliated at minimum for another election cycle. In fact recents polls show had Democrats knew what we all have heard now about Hunter's laptop before the election Biden wouldn't have gotten enough of their votes to win against Trump. Is an extra portion of gruel at the homeless shelter worth the time and effort to post? Independents decide who's elected President, neither Party has the majority of votes, more than 40% of the voters are Independents. SMH
