promote events by putting up fliers in small MI communities

The community improvement non-profit, Small Business Jumpstart of Michigan, is hosting entrepreneurship training seminars throughout the state, but needs to get the word out. For that purpose we need someone to drive around to towns throughout the region, stop by places that often have public bulletin boards & are heavily trafficked (grocery stores, bars, etc), pin one of our flyers, and be on to the next location. If there's no bulletin board, you can ask an employee if you can tape a flyer in the window; since it's a charity event, they often will allow. We're looking to hire someone for 2 full 8-hour days for $350. If you're efficient, this will let you cover a lot of territory, and we suggest you plot out a circular route that brings you back toward home by the end of the day. We'll pay one day in advance of each workday ($175/day) and will reimburse the other costs after you calculate them. Hours of work can be divided into several days, if you prefer. Reimbursable costs include gas mileage (honor system - we'll trust your estimate as long as it's within reason), as well as the cost of printing our black & white flyers (we'll buy you a new printer cartridge & ream of paper if you print flyers at home OR let us know how much you paid to print at local libraries, UPS, etc). We'll also buy you push pins, tape, and staples, so you'll have all you need to put up our flyers in various locations.
