Established gigging band seeking Bassist

Established Grand Rapids cover band seeks full time Bassist. Hello, Our band “Klay N’ The Mud” based in Jenison/Ada area is seeking a full time Bassist. We are primarily an active cover band; however, I want to make note that we do some original music as well. We are currently looking to fill our bassist position by start of 2023 as our current bassist has become too busy to be able to stay committed to the schedule. We play consistently (about 2-4 shows a month during the winter and we tend to book more solid in the summer months with outdoor deck shows/beer tent festivals, etc. Our song list is spans a lot of different styles from 80’s hair band, to 90’s alternative, grunge, some country, pop, 70’s, and yes even stuff like the backstreet boys lol. We love just playing fun music that people want to party/dance to and love having a wide variety that people don’t always expect to hear. Most of our shows we play are around Grand Rapids, surrounding areas and mainly Lakeshore areas in the Summer with occasional shows a little further out. We are all professional, no egos, no drama, have professional gear, attitudes, and we love gigging! What we are looking for: 1. Someone with the same attitude / drive 2. Same relative age range, if possible, but not a must (We are in our early 30’s) 3. Singing / harmonizing is a huge bonus 4. Willing to contribute to learning our original material as well (Most of it is written by guitarist and singer, so we are not expecting you to be a part of the writing process, but willing to learn and excited to play some of our own stuff occasionally) 5. Willing to rehearse weekly or bi-weekly (we are flexible and will not be upset if we have to go a week without rehearsing, but you understand my point) 6. Dependable / No Drama 7. Knowledge of running sound / setting up sound gear is a major bonus since our bassist always took on this duty. 8. Willing to put in the time to make the band as good as possible.
