Join OC Habitats in their Wetlands Restoration Project at the Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy! Join OC Habitats™ for a Wetlands Restoration Project at Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy! We will work with the HBWC to continue their efforts in restoring their 3 marshes, Talbert, Magnolia, and Brookhurst marshes. We will either be working in the nursery, removing weeds and debris from wetlands, or planting new plants. We may also get the opportunity to tour the Wetland & Wildlife Care Center that shares the parking lot with HBWC. This will be a real treat as animals are already coming into the hospital. This is a beautiful place that lets you get your hands dirty and see real progress. We hope to see you there! *This is an event that complies with CDC guidelines. All participants must wear a face mask covering both nose and mouth and remain socially distanced at a minimum of 6 feet apart from those not in your household. Tools will be provided, but please bring your own pair of work gloves. A sanitizing and water station will also be provided, but bring your own refillable water bottle.
