Description
Having to rehome my beloved Tortoise shell cat. Female, her name is Opal and she is approximately two years old. She is not altered, is a great hunter (will catch all of your bugs and mice), and has a beautiful split coat pattern. She has always been a inside cat and is litter trained,
She comes with a crate for traveling, collar, and harness. She does not do well with dogs, but does warm up to other cats. She has textbook tortoise shell attitude, sassy, clever and dominant.
This is extremely hard for our family and I would like to add that the ONLY reason I am willing to rehome is because I’ve had my small rescue dog longer (who weighs about half as much as Opal) and as time goes on Opal just hasn’t adjusted well. Because of the tension between her and my dog she is reclusive, and visibly stressed out. I’ve invested both time and money trying to make it work but at this point it just seems unfair to both pets. I absolutely cannot keep her because when she is not reclusive and happens to cross paths with the dog she adamantly shows dominance and tries to fight the dog- as a result my dog is in fear and my cat is stressed and distant. I would love for her to have a loving home she can thrive in, because aside from the fact she doesn’t do well with dogs, she truly is a wonderful cat who does warm up to other cats and enjoys her humans, there will be a rehoming fee. If you’re interested please call, thank you. 7five7 two7two 77three1
