UP FOR CONSIDERATION: Jax James (Jasper Von Haus Benu x Verheimi Durci) 3 year old intact male German Shepherd. AKC registered, HD/ED clear by genetics, fully vetted. Jax has been fully obedience trained and is off leash reliable/e-collar conditioned. He know his name, here, sit, down, wait, stay, eyes, place, kennel, load up, heel, and let’s go. He is trained primarily in German but could very easily be switched to solely English commands. Dam (Verheimi Durci) has a pedigree full of Schh3/IPO3 dogs). Jax is dog and people social (with respectful people/dogs) but is initially aloof at home as shepherd nature tends to be. He will alert you to someone coming on your property/up the driveway/in the yard, etc. but he can easily be called off and back into a heel position. He would be a great active pet for a couple or family with older/respectful kids, or someone wanting to start in sports. He could also be a great image deterrent dog to someone that will actually care for him and not make him just a yard ornament. He has medium ball drive and medium food drive, but he is a very biddable and smart dog, picks up on commands with ease. He is very much a Velcro dog and will stick to you if you want, but doesn’t display any separation anxiety behaviors like being noisy in the crate/trying to break out of a kennel, or other destructive behaviors. He is not a service prospect. No bite history. Trained around cats and small dogs. Social with intact/fixed males and females. Even socializes well with puppies and my pushy/dominant female.
