The Opportunity Tannin Corporation is seeking a Production Worker to follow detailed processes and operate various equipment/machinery to help produce and package chemical products. The Production Worker will also assist with other areas of the warehouse to increase efficiency of operations. Production Worker Job Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and clean manufacturing machinery equipment including valves, pumps, and switches Mix, stage, weigh, package, and label finished products Complete production orders and requests in a timely fashion Read/understand process batch sheets including directions and safety procedures Notify management of any mechanical issues or needed maintenance Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping warehouse and workstations neat Adhere to safety policies and procedures (including wearing proper safety equipment) Production Worker Qualifications and Skills High School diploma or equivalent preferred General knowledge of production/warehouse procedures with 1-2 years’ previous warehouse experience Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills Previous experience in chemical production (mix, batch, packaging, etc.) a big plus Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work on various tasks simultaneously Dependable and reliable Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
