Chanel is a stunning long-haired cat, approximately 18 months old. She was rescued with 4 siblings after they had been observed being thrown out of a carrier near the West Side Highway in August of 2021. Poor Chanel has been in foster care for over a year. Over the past several months she developed itchy lesions on the back of her neck which she scratched open, and lost fur on belly and legs. After a consultation with a veterinary dermatologist, it was determined that Chanel has a food allergy. She can only eat a specific veterinary prescription diet, and as a result she must be your only cat. Chanel will be shy initially but her personality will blossom. She is beautiful, affectionate and playful. Chanel is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for feline AIDS and feline leukemia and is microchipped. See more of Chanel on Instagram @purrfect_cats_nyc.
