The Merchandising Representative will work with our accounts to establish and maintain rapport with key accounts while providing outstanding customer service. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, the Merchandising Representative will execute merchandising directives and re-sets by using a company-provided vehicle to drive to multiple customer accounts throughout the day. In addition, responsible for identifying selling opportunities at account and communicating those opportunities, and individual store problems to the sales team. Responsibilities: Maximize visual presentation by setting up new lines, stocking and cleaning merchandise by dusting and wiping down products and shelves as needed. Provide customers and store associates with product knowledge Ensure product is stocked and presentable at all times Assist in identifying opportunities for solution selling and incremental space Communicate any special needs to the sales team. Reporting of daily and weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within assigned territory through the use of CRM tools as appropriate. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent years of experience Experience in retail, merchandising, and/or stocking preferred Problem-solving and service-oriented attitude Ability to lift, push and pull 45 pounds while climbing ladders Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include working outside the typical schedule of Mon.-Fri., including periodic Saturdays and occasional overtime Valid driver’s license with ability to be covered by company insurance Maintain professional appearance.
