Autumnal Nature Bath.
This experience is led by Missie Wikler who is a trained forest and nature therapy guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. This 2 hour experience takes place outside on the grounds of Hanai in sagebrush and juniper. It starts with a nature immersion meditation opening your senses to the natural world around. You will then slow down and explore the environment fully experiencing what the present moment offers. Sensory invitations are then offered to cultivate deeper connections with the more than human world. This experience will lead us to a space where we will share nature-tea harvested right there on the property to seal in the practice. Hanai provides a peaceful and serene setting for this journey! This nature bathing experience has been adapted from Shinrin Yoku or forest bathing practices that started in Japan. These practices are shown to achieve multiple health benefits, including boosting immunity, relieving anxiety and depression, and lowering heart rate and blood pressure.
