HELLO ALL We are three neighbors/property owners in the Yucca Valley/Yucca Mesa area that had gone in a lot of 6" wooden posts to put up around our properties. Over the past few months, we have had repeated thefts on all the properties. The thieves have gone as far as sawing down set posts to drive onto private property to steal $100's of dollars in posts as well repeatedly taking the posts right out of the ground along the fence line. Having the posts stolen and the violations of our space and property are one thing, the destruction caused to our untouched desert landscape is another. Many different cacti, plants and homes of wildlife have been ruined as a consequence of these self-centered actions. We ask that if anyone knows who these people are or if you've seen someone come up on some pretty expensive posts they wouldn't have otherwise, please reach out. The police have been notified but have no place to start. We have owned this property for ten years, we did not purchase it to build another BnB or to make money on it. We chose it for our love of the land and our desire to keep it beautiful. Like many of you, we work hard for what we have and would never consider stealing from our neighbors. We have $500 for any information that leads to the identification and arrest of these thieves.
