Spanish Version En celebración de National Public Lands Day, Vive NW te invita a aportar tu granito de arena y mantener nuestros parques forestales limpios este sábado 24 de septiembre! National Public Lands Day es un evento de voluntarios que se lleva a cabo anualmente para ayudar a restaurar los parques públicos de Estados Unidos. Desde 1979, National Public Lands Day ha reunido a cientos de miles de voluntarios para ayudar a mantener nuestros parques ecológicamente saludables. Este evento gratificante, comenzará en el sendero NW Leif Erickson Dr & Wild Cherry en Forest Park en Portland. Vive NW y voluntarios apoyarán el programa de senderos del parque forestal limpiando desechos y escombros naturales en el trecho del sendero. Esto aumentará la seguridad y accesibilidad a los visitantes de esta zona forestal. English Version In celebration of National Public Lands Day, Vive NW invites you to help keep our forest parks clean on Saturday, September 24! National Public Lands Day is a volunteer event held annually to help restore America's public parks. Since 1979, National Public Lands Day has brought together hundreds of thousands of volunteers to help keep our parks clean and ecologically healthy. This rewarding event will kick off at the NW Leif Erickson Dr & Wild Cherry Trail. Vive NW and volunteers will support the Forest Park Trails Program by clearing debris and waste along the trails. This will increase the safety and accessibility of the forest park to visitors. After cleaning approximately 5 miles of the trail, we will gather at Lower Macleay Park for a complimentary lunch by Thomas English Muffins and you will receive a surprise for your participation. *** Additional Information *** Date: Saturday, September 24, 2022 Meeting time: 09:00 AM - 12:00 PM Meeting Point: NW Leif Erikson Dr and Wild Cherry Trail: 4198-4100 NW Leif Erikson Dr, Portland, OR 97210.
