Bird Walk at National Arboretum (followed by Annual Meeting)

Description

The Board of Directors of DC Audubon invites all to join in a morning of birding and camaraderie in United States National Arboretum at our annual meeting and field trip bird walk on October 1st, 2022. Our annual meeting coincides with a prime time to see late fall migrants like Yellow-rumped, Palm, and Blackpoll warblers and early winter arrivals including White-throated Sparrows, Purple Finches, and kinglets. The bird walk will start at 8:30 a.m. in the Grove of State Trees Picnic Area. Following the bird walk, we will gather in the picnic area at 10:00 a.m. to socialize and elect new directors to the board. Enjoy lite refreshments while mingling with your fellow Audubon members and board members. You must be a current member of DC Audubon to vote during the annual meeting.
