Description

Begin this workshop by harvesting carrots and ginger from the farm with a member of the Gibbet Hill Farm team. Then work with Chef Rhiannon Brown to learn how to handle and process the produce, make a sumptuous soup, and preserve it to enjoy later this fall or winter. Participants will taste soup on site and bring some home to enjoy at a later date. Price per person includes a thoughtfully prepared, snack box of crudite, dips, and breads. The class will be held rain or shine on the farm. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather, and wear shoes appropriate for the weather and sturdy enough for walking in and around the farm. Tools will be provided for hands-on activites, but please bring gloves that is your preference for garden work.
