Christiansburg Institute, Inc. is hosting a workshop to teach interested community members how to properly care for their family archives, preserving them for future generations. We will review the best ways to handle and care for photographs, scrapbooks, paper documents, and family heirlooms. Participants are welcome to bring specific questions about their personal artifacts. Our staff will also digitize your family records so you can share digital copies with family and friends, right before the holidays! Participants are welcome to bring any paper documents or photographs to be scanned before and after the event.
