The Bridgehampton Museum concludes its successful premiere series, The Distinguished Lecturer Series, with historian and treasured Museum Trustee Ed Wesnofske as its final speaker. Mr. Wesnofske will be presenting his lecture, The Monumental Tale of Bridgehampton’s Main Street 1895 - 1910, at the Nathaniel Rogers House Thursday, September 22, at 6 pm. Mr. Wesnofske is a Bridgehampton resident, a product of its school and farm life, a re9red professor currently documen9ng historic persons and structures in Bridgehampton and surrounding areas for the Town of Southampton, and serves as a Trustee of the Bridgehampton Museum. “We could not be more thrilled to close out this exciting series with Ed Wesnofske as our final speaker for the year. His knowledge of Bridgehampton and lived experience in this area are second to no one. Ed is a treasure. We’re very grateful to all our members and community members who supported this and all of our eventsAnd we could not be more thrilled,” said Nina Dec the Bridgehampton Museum executive director. A Q&A and refreshments will follow the 40-minute talk. Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non- members. The Distinguished Lecturer Series is a bimonthly series that presents informal talks with noted authors, historians, and poets about their work and process. Discussions have been taking place most alternating Thursdays since its inception April 7, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This series marks the museum’s reopening after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
