Description
Tonight I went to the above-mentioned grocery store and while checking out had such a nice moment with the cashier that I wanted to post something about it. This may or may not be the right place, so please forgive me if it's wrong...
I don't remember your name, wish I had asked. If I recall, I think it was lane 3 you were working. As I came up next in line I asked you how you were doing and if the world was treating you well. You told me you had just come back from vacation on the east coast and that you were feeling great. Your beautiful smile was awesome! I could see that you were truly feeling good. Since your line wasn't busy we ended up chatting for a few minutes, about AZ heat and prices and how eager we both are to move out of here. We connected with so much compassion, respect and love (as friends, this is not a "love/lust"-type thing here!) and I left there feeling so amazing!
My hope is that you will see this, but if you don't then world, know that there are indeed genuine sweet and loving strangers out there! You are one sweet and special lady and I am sure that we could have many pleasant moments just hanging out, talking about life and our plans, and making home-made grub to share together. You totally surprised me tonight. The world has seemed so harsh and cold and people have been so harsh to one another in recent years that my heart has been weary and wondering if there were any good people left. You proved there are!
Thank you so much for a beautiful moment. I will cherish it deeply for many years to come. I wish you the best in your journey back east and I will always think about you fondly. Perhaps I'll see you in line again and I can tell you this in person!
Much love to you, lovely lady. Most sincerely and with the utmost respect, The Tall Redhead.
