This Conference seeks to EMPOWER all in attendance to be a part of OUR Quality of Life workshops for both youth and adults on the following topics:
Advocacy/Neighborhood EngagementEducation Economic DevelopmentEnvironmental Crime and Safety Health/Wellness Housing and Infrastructure Workforce DevelopmentParticipants will experience engaging conversation and fellowship while visiting the information village. Attendees will leave with personal ownership and commitment to the process of continuing to gather information for the NU plan.
The day will include an amazing panel moderated by Oseye Boyd, Public Engagement Editor for the Indianapolis Star, and will feature State Rep Robyn Shackleford , Dr. Sean Huddleston, President of Martin University, Dr. Aleesia Johnson, Superintendent of Indianapolis Public Schools, Milele Kennedy
, Director, Division of Community Nutrition and Food Policy, City of Indianapolis, and others to be announced at a later date.
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for all registered attendees.
