This event is brought to you by Makersville Services (a 501c3) through grant funding and contributions of: the Arts Council of Long Beach and the City of Long Beach and Makersville.
STEAM teachers, student teachers, in-school makerspace and Innovation space leaders and coaches will share their S.T.E.A.M. projects and discuss how they got them funded.
S.T.E.A.M. education is the most inclusive form of education. It's not easy, but some teachers are implementing S.T.E.A.M. in the formal classrooms, in school Makerspaces and Innovation Labs and in informal classrooms. There are many challenges to implementing S.T.E.A.M. education, particularly in full classes of students!
One of our scheduled instructors will share their projects.
