We are excited to welcome the return of the National Aeropress Championship to Indianapolis for the second year in a row, hosted by Tinker Coffee. This may be a competition but it is also a party. Bow ties and aprons are permitted but not required, so, undo that top button, untuck your grooviest shirt and come plunge with some of your favorite coffee people in the middle of America. If you aren't ready to compete but still love to have fun, we will have plenty to do and drink. On the same weekend, Tinker is also hosting Cup Tasters and Roasters competitions for CoffeeChamps Prelims! The Format This year's format will be just a little different than last year. Practice rounds and the first and second rounds will be assigned and scheduled the week of the event. Competitors will have scheduled 30 minutes the morning of the event to practice in the competition space. Practice will run in the morning from 10 AM - 12 PM. Competition rounds will begin at 1:30. Practice and qualifying rounds will all take place in the Lab at Tinker Coffee. After the qualifying rounds are complete, we will announce finalists and invite the crowd to join us in the main roastery space for the final round and after party, starting around 5 PM.
