Description

These American Cocker spaniel pups will be ready for rehoming Friday, September 23rd. They have been nurtured indoors right next to my desk. They will be noise desensitized for fireworks, storms, traffic/city noise, airports, etc. They have been exposed to older dogs and small children. They have completed a full course ENS, a program designed to produce a superior animal in several aspects. Their litter training started before 3 weeks of age and is going great. Parents successfully use the bell method and a dog door. They are being introduced to open crate training. They have been dewormed at 5 times with two different dewormers (Pyrantel Paomate and Fenbendazole). They have been vet checked and vaccinated once with Spectra 5 at 8 wks. All new families will receive vaccination and worming record, weight journal info, and a puppy care package that includes two toys(one squeaky/one plush), a litter mate blanket, a sample of their current food, homemade dog biscuits, and a baggie of litter starter to help transition potty training to a new yard. Their sire & dam have had genetic testing and are clear of over 159 different gene mutations that cause disease. One year health guarantee. You can request proof of genetic testing on parents. We have DNA testing through Wisdom Panel which shows the offspring of this mating to be all Cocker but with 43% genetic diversity as compared to 12% for most papered dogs. Sire(purebred black & tan American Cocker spaniel) is 28 lbs Dam(ghosted black & tan Cocker/Pomeranian cross) is 23 lbs. The pups will have an easier coat to care for than their sire, a pure-bred, double-curl coated Cocker spaniel. Contact me if you are interested in filling out a questionnaire for vetting purposes and for complete rehoming information.
