When: Friday, October 7th from 7:00PM to 9:00PM Where: Alakoko Shop at 2976 Kress Street, Līhuʻe Food Caterer: Backyard to Mesa Cost: $45 (purchased before Oct. 3rd); $60 (purchased after Oct. 3rd) (limit 34 attendees) COMMUNITY DINNER + FUNDRAISER. A “FEAST” is a public dinner at which attendees pay to join a catered reception, and a portion of that payment is set aside as a prize. While attendees eat, mingle, and imbibe, different artists showcase their work and explain their proposed public art project. After the presenters are finished, attendees vote on which artist’s project they wish to award the prize to. At the October 7th FEAST, local artists will present different public art and placemaking projects being planned as part of the "Līhuʻe Placemaking, Forestry & Gardens Initiative", including bus shelters murals. Attendees will learn about the proposed projects and help fund their favorite ideas!
