The Trio includes the traditional jazz trio of a bass, piano and drums but can also feature other instruments and vocals to suit your needs. Although based out of Wilmington, North Carolina, The Doug Irving Trio is available nationwide for workshops, master classes, jazz festivals, jazz venues, banquets, convention and conference entertainment, fund raisers, corporate functions, country clubs, private parties, wedding receptions, restaurants, hotels and other special occasions. Douglas Curtis Irving began playing the Trombone at age 13 and performing and composing at age 15. He grew up listening to Classical, Soul, Rock, Jazz, and Gospel music in addition to his mother, Edith B.
