Cold Process Soap Mix-and-Go Workshop for total beginners. The instructor, Jenny will take care of the lye solution making, which is the most intimidating for most people who are interested in soap making. So you can just relax and enjoy the fun of cold process soap making! Over 30 kinds of Natural colorants, Additives and Essential Oils for you to choose for making your own natural soap with us! Since you won't be handling the caustic materials (Jenny will make the lye solution for you), this workshop is friendly for anybody who is at least 12 years old and older. Location: Beach House 5317 Duration: 1.5~2 hour Knowledge required: Beginner-friendly, no soap making experience is required. Must be at least 12 years old and older. What you need to bring: A face mask (strongly suggested. So you can protect your face while blending the materials) A thick towel for wrapping and keeping the soap insulated on your way home The disposable apron and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring yours. Your safety goggles or eye glasses, or use what we provide. What you'll get: A loaf of 1-pound soap you mix and make in-class. A simple one-time-use soap mold will be provided or you can bring yours. A handout with the recipe. PARKING: PLEASE DO NOT TAKE UP THE SPACES IN FRONT OF THE STORES ON THE BLOCK, THERE IS PLENTY OF PARKING ON THE SIDE STREETS. THANK YOU.
