Description
About Open Work Wednesday Join us for a day of co-working at the City of South Bend's Technology Resource Center! At noon, we will also host our Self Made, Self Taught speaker of the month! The concept is simple: we're inviting project teams from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors in the region to work out of the South Bend Technology Resource Center (TRC) for a day. Open Work Wednesday is about bringing creative problem solvers together in one place for support, collaboration, and cross-pollination. Schedule for an Open Work Wednesday 9am: People arrive and settle in 10am - 10:30am: Roll call. This is when all participating institutions and individuals introduce themselves and share (1) what they are working on and (2) what they would be curious about learning from others to make their work/project better. 12:00-1:00pm: The Self Made, Self Taught speaker of the month will be featured, and a lunch will be served for all attendees of Self Made, Self Taught or Open Work Wednesday. All other times are unstructured for teams to work together or float to new teams for the day to help them with their projects. Space The TRC large community space will be where everyone works and collaborates. This is the main space when you enter the TRC.
