26 October, 2022

Description

Join us in bringing together leaders from the business, philanthropic, and environmental community for discussions about preserving the natural, agricultural and outdoor heritage of the region through land conservation. This year's luncheon theme is agriculture, agribusiness and land conservation in Southeast Michigan. Our keynote speaker is Andrew Blake, president of Blake Farms and co-owner of Blake's Hard Cider. He will share the story of the founding and growth of Blake's Hard Cider and his family's efforts to grow their businesses--the farming, and the value-added operations, along with some of the challenges they face in our urbanized environment.  The afterglow will include brief remarks from experts in agribusiness in Michigan and the region to help spur conversation during this casual reception and networking opportunity.
