Join the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy & Detroit Audubon for a family friendly intro to birding walk at Gabriel Richard Park. We will review the basics of how to use binoculars and some common bird species then enjoy a walk around the park as we search for birds. This free, all ages program is the perfect way to add some nature education to your kid's day while enjoying the sights and sounds of the Detroit Riverfront! Class will meet at Gabriel Richard Park (7130 E Jefferson). Parking is available in the lot onsite. After parking, walk towards the building along the water to join the class. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Registration is required. When participating in Detroit Riverfront Conservancy's programs or visiting the Detroit Riverfront, please remember: The health and safety of visitors and participants is our top priority. Please stay home if you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Program participants are encouraged to wash or sanitize their hands frequently and to respect the comfort levels of those around them.
