It's been so long since I've heard from you. I know you won't see this because why would you. I heard that you were in Portland now. Probably with a beautiful family. It's silly for me to even post here but I can't stop thinking of you. Every memory we shared hangs on for dear life as time passes on. It's late, Dakota, but I can't stop believing that we were meant to be together... I still drive out to Elgin from time to time and park out front of your parent's place and think about all the good times we had together as kids. We didn't know anything back then but we felt like we were on top and had all the time in the world. How things have changed. I wish I could have been more brave, as to not let all this time pass without confessing my feelings for you. Sad and lonely, but forever yours, C
