Hello, My name is Ishika. I will be 28 years old at the end of the month. I have professional experience with babysitting, nannying, and at daycares'. I am experienced with children from infancy to 7 years old. I have my first aid and CPR certification, as well as have taken many child development courses. I believe In caring for children using "gentle parenting" or "responsive parenting. This practice is the act of responding to a child's behaviors rather than reacting. As I believe every behavior is expressing a need and if we take the time to figure out the need, we can find a safe outlet for the need. I am also an artist, and have an art room equipped with lots of kid friendly art supplies for fun sensory experiences and projects. I also Have lots of stuff animals and toys to help your child feel safe and at home in my apartment. I do have 2 cats and a dog, who are all kid friendly, and I'm happy to put them in another room while your child stays with me. My availability is Monday - Friday, 10-6. I am willing to do weekends once in a while though I prefer to have thoes days off to spend with my family. My starting rate is 13 dollars an hour however may change based on the amount of supplies I must provide for the child's care, Diapers, wipes, diaper rash ointment, ect. I will provide age appropriate toys, art supplies, snacks and a safe place for your child to sleep if they nap. You will need to provide a meal for your child if they are staying that long.
