We are a boutique event planning and design company. We currently serve South Jersey and the Philadelphia area. We are looking for a few reliable people to support us with our events. The responsibilities will vary based on the event but will usually consist of setting up and/or working on the day of the event. I am looking for 2 -3 people I can work with regularly to support us with our events. This is a great way to earn additional income or gain hands-on experience if you're interested in working in the wedding industry. Current dates available 9/24 10/2 10/7 12/4 Responsibilities may include: Checking in on the wedding party at the getting-ready hotel Setting up details before the guests arrive Overseeing catering and vendor setup per the design board, floor plans, and contracts Lining up the wedding party in order Troubleshooting issues as they arise Checking in with VIPs (Parents of the Bride and Groom) Ensuring the timeline is on schedule Coordinating transportation Distributing final payments and tips Breaking down and packing up personal items and gifts Requirements Reliable transportation A working cell phone Experience in retail and // or customer service a plus Lifting at least 30 lbs Standing on your feet for extended periods. Detail-oriented, professional, calm, yet personable Prompt and skilled communicator A quick thinker and creative problem solver Must have at least one outfit and one pair of dress shoes appropriate for a wedding atmosphere Must have good hygiene, no excessive facial piercings, face tattoos, unnatural dyed hair colors, or excessively long nails Willing to train the right people.
