Guitarist looking for band/players

New to the area and looking for a start up or working band. Blues rock type of player, plenty of gig experience, strong in the late 60’s to early 80’s type of rock. Not looking for a “classic rock band” but a classic rock and roll band meaning guitars, bass and drums. Play the songs tight so they are easily recognized but keep them loose and ragged around the edge. Play the songs with conviction and authority. Think Humble Pie, Zep, 70’s Aerosmith, Allman Brothers, Cream, some Hendrix, Rolling Stones, CCR, Clapton, Foghat, ZZ Top, Crazy Horse, etc. Fun music many bands may not be playing but are fun songs to play. Would like to hopefully play out eventually but if getting together for some fun playing is all it is then that can work, too. Single, no children and the drive to play in a band format. Non-smoker, no drugs…maybe a beer or two. Hope this ad reaches others with the same mindset for playing some good rock and roll.
