Need electric wheelchair to borrow

I'm trying to help out a friend. We're both staying at a homeless shelter and she desperately needs an electric wheelchair of any kind. She broke her neck a year ago, has a pacemaker and is a cancer survivor as well. She's got a regular wheelchair but her severe nerve damage from the neck surgery makes it next to impossible for her to get herself around. Her hands are so numb that she can't even tie her shoes or zip up a zipper so I'm really hoping someone has an idea of one she could possibly borrow til her insurance has approved the one she's been waiting forever for. I appreciate any ideas, thanks and have a good one.
