Description

Our monthly gathering of hand-sewers will meet on Sunday Jan 24, 11a-1:30pm Welcome back BeSpokeners and Happy New Year!! Are you all itching to get together again....we sure are!! Our special guest this month will be Chelsea Knipp of Rose Colored Threads. Chelsea is a most excellent embroiderer, and will be showing us a bit of her ribbonwork. A bit about Chelsea: Chelsea Knipp first learned to cross stitch from her mom at 7 years old. Recently she has taught herself many other techniques such as tambour embroidery and gold work. She enjoys creating embroidery for clothing and currently collaborates on pieces with local vintage store Century Girl Vintage. As per suual, this is not a "class", but informal gathering of like minded souls. Bring yer hand craftery to work on, and polite conversation, or not....to our new location, that's right, ricRACK's new home is now open to all you sewers, 1927 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Our sewing classes will be up and running end of Feb, but for now, we have ALL the sewing bits you could ever ever ever need or want! Help us keep the creative re-use voice alive!! Supplies will be on site, ribbon etc, please bring a $10 donation with you to cover those notions. Thanks!
