Description
I play in a wedding and events band that is pretty active over the summer, but those kind of gigs die out from Oct to April or so. I'm looking for something fun and challenging to keep me busy. I'm 56 and a very versatile and experienced drummer. I've played in various bands**, taken lessons and music classes, read well. I'm very comfortable with a click/tracking. I really like being a substitute drummer because I like the challenge of jumping in on new things. I was raised playing acoustic, but play more electronic drums lately. I'm a groove drummer who never plays too loud and has great timing. I'm looking to play with some people who would consider themselves in the Advanced to Pro level bracket. I'm down for jamming, recording, or gigging. Anything fun with quality players. I'm in the northwest suburbs.
Thanks for reading.
**Types of bands I've been in: Army band, Metal, Punk, Disco/Dance, Top40 wedding, Polish/polka Wedding, lounge, Brazilian Drum ensemble, Chicago Blues, Childrens' entertainment act, country, all kinds of rock cover bands, etc... So much stuff. So much Fun!
