Description
I am trying to rehome a pointer mix puppy (I am unsure if she is fully a German Pointer). Her name is Dory, she's 6 months old, medium sized, super playful, and extremely cute. I am not asking for any money for her. This is an emergency situation that she finds a new happy home.
We picked her up from PA yesterday because her original owner was being evicted from her home if she did not rehome Dory, as her Landlord set a no pet policy.. but Dory did not like our apartment. She has a habit of chewing things, jumping on people (which isn't that bad, it's just a whole lot of dog), and trying to get things on counters because she wasn't trained beforehand.
When we adopted her, she came with a bunch of toys, treats, and a bag of dog food, so you won't have to worry about that for a while, as well as a harness and leash.
She needs to be rehomed soon as she doesn't like the noise we hear from the street and acts nervous to go outside in the downtown city, and I cannot leave her home alone with our cat (though I was told she is also good with cats, ours is just extremely cautious).
She doesn't bark much, and is house trained, but I would not see her fit for another apartment. She is also not spayed. There's nothing else wrong with her, and according to the lady we got her from, she is up to date on vaccines and flea preventatives as well!
I would much prefer her going to a home with other dogs or a family who has dealt with medium sized dogs/lab puppies before. I am able to drive her up to an hour away from Binghamton, and I can meet somewhere public. Please email me if interested or have any questions!
