We are looking for a talented Auto Mechanic to join our growing company. You will be responsible for inspecting customer vehicles, diagnosing problems with the engine or other systems, perform routine maintenance while learning more complicated necessary repairs on European collectible cars primarily Porsche. Candidates with more than three years of mechanic experience are preferred. We buy/sell/restore cars that date back to the 1950’s and are pieces of art in different states of repair and/or restoration. Auto Mechanic duties and responsibilities -Examine cars based on customer requests -Perform basic maintenance, including changing motor oil, checking fluid levels -Repair or replace worn parts and systems, such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems and partial engine rebuilds -Follow checklist to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systems -Identify mechanical and electrical problems Auto Mechanic requirements/Qualifications -High School diploma or equivalent -Experience with mechanical systems and repair -Strong communication/listening skills -Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
