The breed are a Chinese native believed to have first appeared during the Han Dynasty. Rapid urbanization of Chongqing province resulted in a significant population declined. We are trying to preserve and add onto the ancient Chinese breed's legacy as well as help introduce this unique breed to anyone willing to wonder What IS that? Breed is not AKC recognized, we are working to get it recognized. It is currently recognized by China Kennel Union.
