We are looking for an ambitious and responsible person to clean the truck each night after each serving day. Food Truck clean up is a nightly position, that may change based on serving days and locations. Responsibilities: General wipe down of inside the truck nightly. Wipe down inside and outside of all refrigeration units. Removal of dirty dishes from truck to kitchen for full cleaning and sanitizing. Weekly straining / filtering of oil inside fryers. Draining and discarding oil from fryers. Full clean out of fryers once a week. Clean fryer baskets nightly. Cleaning chowder pot nightly. Clean inside refrigerators. Restocking the truck of all items necessary to properly operate next day. Full cleaning of hood fan once a week. Vacuuming floor mats and floor lining nightly. Full clean and change weekly. Mop truck floor nightly. Removing trash and breaking down boxes. Refill fresh water tank and dump gray water nightly. Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible. Restock items as needed. Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines. Change generator oil once a week. Keeping shop and bathroom clean. Deep clean truck once a week. Stocking inventory Cleaning exterior of truck once a week. Requirements: Reliable personal transportation Ability to remain flexible, as duties and positions may change based on food truck needs. Knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen. Manuel dexterity, able to operate various cutting tools and kitchen/ truck equipment. A team player, positive attitude and someone with good communication skills. Patient with the ability to stay positive under pressure. Very good physical condition and endurance. Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout work shift. Ability to lift 30+ lbs. throughout your work shift. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights and holidays. WA State Food Handlers Card or the ability to obtain one upon hiring start date. Mechanical knowledge is a plus. Work Schedule: Nightly starting at 9:00pm, or later depending on truck arrival time to shop. Position may be 3-6 hours, Monday-Friday. Monday during the day is deep clean day. Tuesday is exterior wash, stocking and inventory day. Wed - Fri nights are overnight general cleaning and restocking. This is a food truck, shifts at times can be very long, and flexibility is key in this position. Depending on truck serving location, your shift may be extended to assure all cleaning and restocking duties are met before next serving day. Weekdays Weekends Evenings Holidays Pay: Starting at $20 / hr. Depending on experience, pay may increase with proven work history.
