Job Summary The Shop / Fleet Tech must have mechanic experience and be familiar with most aspects of company field equipment, trucks, automobiles and small engines. Following a preventative maintenance (PM) program, making repairs under guidance of the Shop Manager and or Owner of the company, mobilizing large equipment to/from job sites and fueling are routine responsibilities. The Shop Technician must interact with all company personnel,  exhibit willingness to learn and displays a professional demeanor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assisting with maintenance & repairs on lawn care, landscaping, snow plowing equipment and vehicles (DOE, training provided). Moves vehicles and equipment around the yard/shop Ensures the shop and yard is organized, functional and clean. Fuels company vehicles and equipment each day. Assists crews with loading and unloading of equipment as needed. Delivers materials and equipment as needed to and from job sites. Follows company & safety policies  Additional duties as assigned Qualifications, Skills & Attributes Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 1+ years mechanic experience Experience with small equipment maintenance & basic repairs   Experience in basic vehicle maintenance Demonstrates mechanical aptitude or worked as a mechanic Ability to communicate professionally with individuals inside and outside of the organization Experience using a forklift and skid steer  Problem-solving ability Ability to work under pressure & prioritize  Communicates clearly in English  Follows direction well & open to training  Ability to adjust hours worked to accommodate seasonal fluctuations Benefits and Perks Competitive pay for this position starting range $20.00 - $28.00 DOE Overtime  Medical & Vision Coverage  Company PTO & paid holidays Monday to Friday Schedule with some flexibility on working hours Clean workplace environment and well maintained vehicles and equipment Positive workplace culture  North County Lawn Care LLC is a professionally operated lawn care and landscaping company, in business since 2003.
