About the Position: - Drive a 26-foot Box Truck delivering pallets and packages to Freight locations - Load and unload the truck using approved equipment - Comply with company policies, procedures, and DOT regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, trailer designations, violation and incident reporting requirements, break periods, etc.) - Perform a proper pre-trip inspection on the vehicle before daily operations - Report any damage or mechanical issue to the supervisor - Maintain daily logs and time cards - Assist in delivery of box trucks for scheduled maintenance - Follow DOT regulations as well as state and local laws What We Offer: - $22-23/hr - Paid weekly after 2nd week - Benefits offered (health) - Year round work - Advancement Opportunities - Fuel is paid by company - $500 Sign on Bonus Requirements: - Driver's License (Required) - Box truck: 1 year (Preferred) - Will train new drivers with the right potential - Professional, mature, and friendly customer service is a must, no bad attitudes - Must be reliable and have adequate transportation to and from work - Must be able to pass a background check - Have a clean driving record
