YARD/WAREHOUSE MANAGER Sargon is looking for an experienced YARD/WAREHOUSE MANAGER to join our Steel fabrication shop. Sargon Steel is a full-service commercial fabrication and erection company focusing in commercial fencing, park structures, automatic gates and many other various design-build metal work located in Phoenix. Must be able to: - Show 2 years plus forklift certification - Previous Yard/ Warehouse experience - Shipping and receiving experience - Listen and follow instructions from General Manager & Lead Welder - Follow Sargon Safety Standards and be a safety leader for the company - Lift up to 50 pounds & be in good physical condition - Promote the Sargon Core Values in all aspects of your duties (Safety, Accountability, Hardwork, Integrity, Respect) - Reliably get to work on time daily - Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict - Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening - Great interpersonal skills - Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities - Exceptional time management and organization skills - In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse - Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics - Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications - Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time Must have current Forklift certification This position is full-time, hourly pay, up to $20 per hour, Depending on Experience Competitive wages and benefits that include medical, dental, vision and life insurance as well as up to 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave (accrual basis) and holiday pay.
