The Event Group International () is looking for several individuals to assist with the Day before Wedding, Wedding Ceremony and Reception functions in North East, Maryland on October 8 and 9, 2022. While most of the laborious setup and heavy lifting such as chairs/tables, decorations, flower arrangements, furniture configuration, etc will be done by the venue and other vendors. It is our responsibility to ensure that everything is done, positioned, and arranged per the setup map and accompanying instructions. Some light loading and unloading of items, lifting and moving of items may be required. During the event: we will manage the guest experience. Requirements: Attention to detail. Must be hard working, presentable, courteous, able to work unsupervised, able to multitask, take direction, and execute per given instructions from the Event Lead. Must be able to lift 20lbs – 30lbs. EXTREMELY DESIRABLE: Previous event/wedding experience. Someone who has worked or works in the industry. Someone has experience and understanding of the event flow. Creative abilities Wedding Event: Eagle Point Weddings & Retreats 470 Wapiti Ln, North East, MD 21901 Hours of Engagement: Expect at least a 10-hour / day, possibly a bit longer (Precise Timeline, where to meet, and whom to meet, with all the details, will be provided a bit closer to the event date) Pay Rate: $15 / hr We are staffing multiple events in several locations.
