We are looking for a live-in Horse Farm worker in Kirkland to help with the horse boarding operations. We are located in the heart of Bridle Trails and across the street from a 500 acre horse park. Conveniently located in between Google and Microsoft. Horse experience preferred but not necessary. Duties include: Tasks include but are not limited to the following: -clean stalls and paddocks -maintaining the facility and caring for the horses -maintain pasture management -fix electric fences -repair damaged enclosures or barns -responsibly use machinery/vehicles, to prevent damage -order supplies -move, feed, water, care for horses -manage horse schedules -admin work on computer -marketing/ showing farm / communicating w/boarders, etc -hands on maintenance (landscaping, fixing fences, minor repairs) - scheduling and overseeing workers Required Skills/Qualifications: - Organized and reliable - No drama - Must be willing to work outside and be able to lift hay bales sometimes. - Farm requires someone who can do multiple tasks. Got to "wear many hats" on farm. - Must pass a background screening and drug tests - Must be responsible, honest, and work well with others - No drugs, alcohol, etc. Must have a valid drivers license and transportation to get to and from work as scheduled. Be able to Pass a background check and be present and on time for work.
