Come witness the beautiful first showing of the artist known as CryBaby. The majority of these works were created during the lockdown/pandemic and are as equally moving as they are captivating. Macros "CryBaby" Baker is a self-taught portrait artist, creating breath-taking textured works utilizing both graphite and charcoal. "Can you obtain a fragment of a person through an emotion? Can you experience a memory without words? Can you feel what another person feels and caption that story vividly? In my creative process I delve deep, spending hundreds of hours connecting with another person's subconscious; piecing together fragments. With every stroke of the pencil a word is spoken, an untold story is revealed. We hide behind a mask wishing someone would truly understand us. Hoping someone could hear the words we don't speak. One day I hopes to be heard without words.
