/... Seeking drummer for jam band music. We play jam band music, and anything improvisational, such as Jerry Garcia, Grateful Dead, fusion, originals, ambient, new_age, jazz, classical, psychedelic, free_form, the music that is in your mind, etc. We start at 930pm and play about 3 hours. We try to play 1 to 3 times a week, usually Mondays and Wednesdays and Saturdays. We focus on improvisation-- pick night, be a regular, or come when you can, but please try it at least once. We try to play long songs, about 10 minutes or more. Please be at least 20 years old. We play only as a trio (keys/bass/drums) or as a quartet (keys/bass/drums/guitar) here. I play keys, and I am flexible, and you can bring your own players, and make it your own project with me, as long as it has lots of improvisation and we play long format songs, and we must have at least bass and drums at all sessions. The room is setup with good house equipment such as a drum kit, a guitar amp, a pa, a bass amp, a bass guitar, and multitrack recording, so just show up and play. We play for fun.
