Building Maintenance Technician needed for large commercial property management company whose portfolio includes, but is not limited to, shopping centers, hospitals, medical office buildings and industrial/warehouse facilities. The technician will be located within and primarily responsible for the maintenance activities occurring at one commercial office building and will be required to conduct all business in accordance with written company policy and procedures and all State and Federal Regulations (such as Lead Based Paint, ADA, HAZ Com program, OSHA, etc.). The on site building maintenance technician will work with Facilities Department to maintain an awareness of property condition(s) and take immediate steps necessary to correct any unsafe areas. Additional responsibilities include the following: - Scheduling and performing routine preventative maintenance on appropriate equipment as directed by the facilities manager. - Inspecting and maintaining tools in excellent condition. - Diagnose and perform minor repairs in areas such as plumbing, HVAC (diagnostic), landscape irrigation, flooring, door hardware, security systems (reset/test) and boiler system(s). REQUIREMENTS: Applicant(s) should have the following: - 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance experience; - excellent customer service skills with attention to detail; and - the ability to lift 75 pounds and work 8-12 hours standing/walking.
