Dear Champions of the Free World, Elections are won by candidates who win the hearts and minds of an electorate bored to death with unkept promises. Politicians are elected to solve problems, and right now the 800 pound gorilla in the room (and the root cause of our accelerating social and environmental problems) is population growth. It is the single most important issue in human history, it is a challenge we dare not shirk, and there are only three solutions: start killing, stop fucking or find more room. WINNING THEIR HEARTS AND MINDS: We are running out of room on Earth’s surface, and we are choking on our own feces, but Earth’s atmosphere can accommodate a hundred times more people than her surface, and promoting an exodus to earth atmosphere will both intrigue and fascinate the electorate; but, such an exodus cannot be forced, it can only be encouraged. If Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Richard Branson, et al are encouraged to develop, manufacture and market solar powered atmospheric dwellings they will create a life style so attractive every family will want one, and it can be done with existing technologies. The resulting exodus will solve over 90% of our social and environmental problems by default simply because it is cleaner and more efficient. If John Fitzgerald Kennedy was here today, he would propound, “We choose to begin a new life in Earth’s atmosphere before the end of this decade, not because it is easy, but because it is hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win.” Solving the population problem is not just an American issue, it is global. Neither can the global community can be forced, but it can be encouraged with two key acts: 1. Repeal the 16th Amendment (because it violates the 13th Amendment), 2. Rename the United States of America (the United States of Earth) so the United States can open admissions to statehood for any nation that wishes to enjoy the unrestricted trade and travel currently enjoyed by all citizens within the United States of America. This change should have been made in 1959 when Hawaii was admitted to the United States even though it was not part of North America. The three pillars of human society (Commerce, Church and State) were created to serve the Family of Man. The trade of goods and services requires a moral code to assure equity between consumers and vendors, a common cause to unite us, and a common vision of whatever future we pursue to give us direction. Every aspect of these systems, however, exist for the sole purpose of serving the sovereign interests of each and every man, woman and child. A political platform that promotes ascension will serve the economic and political welfare of all humanity, but the religious interests of all people extend far beyond this lifetime. It is the stated purpose of every religion to guide and aid us in our transition from this life to our next life. It is, therefore, in the interest of all candidates to solicit the advice and participation of their Imams, Rabbis, Priests, Bodhisattvas, et al who desire and anticipate reincarnation and resurrection because if you don’t love life enough to want to come back, you are lost. A Presidential candidate who unifies the interests of Commerce, Church and State in a global quest for ascension and resurrection serves the interests of every man, woman and child, beyond the measure of any of our predecessors, insuring we will all inherit a better Earth in our next life because we committed ourselves to the care and nurture of the Earth we enjoy in this life. In the words of William Patrick Kinsella, “If you build it, they will come.” Tell your friends and your enemies, your priests and pirates, popes and politicians, princes and paupers because you have to want it before you can build it. Without wax, Marco
